LEGOLAND Florida Announces New Attractions

This year is going to be one of the most exciting years ever for the theme park industry here in Central Florida, as we know that countless new attractions, rides, and shows that will soon be added in most of the theme parks in the area. Among the new attractions that will open, we recently heard about the new LEGOLAND Water Park, which will officially debut on May 26, 2012 (more information and photos of the water park can be found here). But that is not all that LEGOLAND Florida will present to the public this year.

Indeed, LEGOLAND Florida has just announced that some more minor attractions will open during 2012.
Here you are just a few of these novelties, along with the projected opening date:

LEGOLAND Florida is Continuing to Grow... Literally!

On March 28, 2012, the all-new Fresh From Florida Greenhouse tour opens, showcasing the who, what, where, how, and why of "farm to table" agriculture. Families can get nose to nose with a variety of Florida fruits and vegetables - strawberries, corn, tomatoes - and learn how they're grown, harvested, cleaned, and eventually eaten in freshly prepared meals. The Greenhouse is sponsored by Fresh From Florida, and outreach program of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

New Warner Brothers Interactive Game Zone

Kids can test and play the latest, greatest LEGO video games at Warner Brothers Game Zone opening this March [NOTE: the exact date has not been announced yet]. Located within the park's Imagination Zone, the high-tech area includes iPads and playable video kiosks.

As you can see, LEGOLAND Florida is continuing to introduce new experiences all the time, despite the fact that the park opened just a few months ago! If that wasn't enough, many more projects are rumored to be announced in the near future. Stay tuned as we keep you up-to-date!

  1. The game zone sounds nice, but I think we can all agree, the park needs more rides. Real rides.
