Disney Resorts Adjustments Today Due To Weather
Due to unusually cold weather, all the Disney Resorts will make some operational changes today:

In addition to that, the "Spirit of Aloha Dinner Shows will not perform today at the Polynesian Resort:

Due to forecasted low temperatures, there will be changes to outdoor recreation offerings on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Resort pools:
• Guests may use the swimming pools and hot tubs at their discretion, however lifeguards will not be present.
• Lifeguard stands and pool slides will be closed.
Resort marinas:
• Boat rentals will not be available.
• Equipment rentals available at marinas will be available during regular operating hours.
• There will be no boat or equipment rentals at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
Activities:
• Pirate Cruises have been cancelled for Tuesday, Jan. 3 and Wednesday, Jan. 4.
• Campfires have been cancelled at the following resorts:
o Disney’s Contemporary Resort
o Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
o Disney’s Polynesian Resort
o Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
• Nightly movies will be relocated to indoor space at most resorts. However, movies have been cancelled at the following locations:
o Disney’s Contemporary Resort
o Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
o Disney’s Polynesian Resort
• All other activities will be moved indoors.
Specialty Cruises, Fishing Excursions and Segway Tours (at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground) will continue to operate as originally scheduled.

Due to expected inclement weather conditions, the 5:15pm & 8:00pm Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner shows for Tuesday, January 3, 2012 have been cancelled. The dinner show is held in an outdoor venue, and when the weather becomes colder as the sun sets, the overall Guest experience is not in keeping with the quality of Disney entertainment that we want to provide our Guests. We apologize for any inconvenience and will be happy to assist in booking alternate dining arrangements for you.
