Old Town Update: Windstorm's Rehab & More (Part 2)

Here we are on part 2 of this new Old Town update (for PART 1, click here). Let's continue our tour:

This wooden structure should be a game to find small golden nuggets:

The water was flowing, but it looks like the game is not yet open to the public:

The Nascar/Bopping Heads store has a new sign:

It is now called "GS FUN":

A new store will soon come to this location:

Now, let's move to the back section of the park:

Let's take a look at the rides available in this area:

This seems to be new:

This ride has recently been moved near the roller coaster:

And, talking about the Windstorm coaster, we have some very good news:

All its supports are being repainted in blue!:

It is great to see that they're taking care of this major attraction:

It is already starting to look good:

I really hope they will also repaint the track:

Swoosh:

And that is all for now, but before we leave, we wanted to share with you two great Old Town businesses that you should visit. The first one is called "Electronic Town":

They sell cameras, phones, jewelry, and much more:

We just recently found out that a dear friend of ours works here!:

Next time you go to the store, ask for Mr. Michael, and mention that OTPN sent you. He will give you a discount:

Also, don't forget to visit Flippers Pizzeria!:

Thank you very much for viewing, and have a great rest of your day!

  1. I love Old Town, glad to see more progress. Perhaps that ride has moved closer to the coaster so that a new one can be constructed? :P

Still a little concerned about the lack of guests though.

  2. I agree that Oldtown did look devoid of guests in this update.

However, from personal experience I've found a great majority of guests visit in the evening, after a visit to a major theme park, or to coincide with one of the car parades.

As the photos were clearly taken during the day, it can be presumed that crowds picked up as the day progressed.

Its also worth remembering that the photos were taken in the off-season: attendances everywhere will be a little slack, not just Oldtown!

The regular updates and refurbs to Oldtown should ensure that this attraction continues to attract visitors for many years to come!
