  1. We all know why Magic Kingdom is the first one to shut down because of capacity, because it's the best park in Walt Disney World, I think Disney should almost make a Magic Kingdom Part 2. With other characters. Animal Kingdom is a flop. I really don't care what anyone says. If you think about it, people go to Disney to see the Disney Characters. Anyone could go to see a lion or Zebra. I picture Animal Kingdom getting a huge make over just like DCA because the guest want Disney nothing else! Whats Disney? Magic Kingdom and Disneyland are the best parks in the World!

  2. The only thing you forgot to say is, "...in my opinion..." (unless you're counting "I think...")

  3. I wouldn't go as far as to call AK a flop: sure it has its faults but its still a great park. Personally, I like seeing animals, and despite similar (and often better) animal exhibits being available at Busch Gardens still always visit AK each time I'm in Florida. I simply enjoy the Disney style and attention to detail they always bring.

I don't feel AK needs a huge makeover, and certainly doesn't need to become MK pt2. It offers a different experience to MK while still offering a piece of the Disney magic

and the park is due to receive a whole new land in the next few years which will add a new experience and be a makeover of sorts anyway!

  4. I would just like to take this chance to wish everyone connected with OTPN (both administrators and readers) a very happy new year and a safe, prosperous, and wonderful 2012!

  5. Where's Timothy? Are they leaving him off the new base? What about when they move the old base- will it be rehabbed to match the new one or left as is? As for AK, my family enjoys it more than DHS and is neck and neck with EPCOT.

  6. Sorry to go negative, but I really hate circus tents.

  7. Have we lost sight of the amount of unoccupied land on WDW property? There's certainly enough space to erect a second MK and still have AK available to those of us who appreciate it. After all, didn't Walt pride himself on teaching while entertaining?
