Universal Studios: Hard Rock Demolition Complete (2)

After having checked out half of the park in PART 1, we have seen some of the work being done on Despicable Me, the Universal 360 barges, and more. But now it's time to check out the other half of the park. Let's continue by entering Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone:

Spongebob Squarepants now meets near the main shop, just near the Kidzone Pizza Company::

And now, the most exciting part: the location of the former Hard Rock Cafe':

As you can notice, a brand-new road has been built in its place:

- UPDATE - After further consideration, it looks like the path shown in these pictures may have already been there since a long time, even though it may have been not clearly visible with the building in place:

Will this path lead to a new ride? Maybe, maybe not...

Inside the E.T. Adventure, newer, much bigger television screens have appeared. And this time, they are LEDs:

  1. Wow... Sam this time you surprised me! There are so many pictures about some detailed place around the park that in many cases I didn't remember those was there!!!!

Talking about the new pathway inside the old HRC zone, do you know if is connected to an existing road inside or outside the park?? Maybe with this information we can understand if it will be part of new attraction or part of the Hard Rock Hotel.

If we take a look to the satellite's maps I didn't understand if this road is a segment of the Backlot Dr. & Psyco Backstage Rd. (that it seems passed under the HRC) or if a new pathway.

    Any idea about it???

  2. The Terminator 2:3D pre-show has to be one of my all time favorite pre-shows. I'd go as far to say I like the Pre-show and first 3 minutes of the actual 3-D film (With the "T-100's") better than the rest of the film. The whole ride is spectacular though.

    (maybe because I'm a robotics nerd....I don't know)

The rest of the park looks great! Thanks for the update!

  3. The roadway were the HRC was is a backstage road inside the park, it previously went under the restaurant.

It provides access to the front gate offices and the rear of ET/Terminator.
