Fantasyland Update: Carousel Refurb Starts (PART 1)

The new Fantasyland area is continuing to receive more and more additions each and every week. During each and every one of our visit to the park, we find something new to report. This week, we have quite a few new things to report to you, starting from a good news: the refurbishment of Prince Charming's Royal Carousel has finally started. Let's take a look:

The tarps are very colorful:

With that being said, we do recognize that it is very difficult to represent a sloped roof with a vertical tarp:

A side view of the carousel:

The bases of the tarps have a golden color. It's the first time we see such walls:

It is great to see Fantasyland (and the park in general) receiving such attention:

A "panoramic" view of the entire tarp:

This side will soon be hidden by a tarp soon:

A view of the carousel from the Pinocchio Village Haus gives you a general idea of how high these tarps are:

Notice also that the work on the pathway next to the carousel is finally done. There's a lot of space now, so that the area doesn't feel as crowded as before:

Work also continues on the new castle walls:

The walls are finally receiving some great details! Take a look:

Yes, as you can see, the theming of these ancient-looking walls is already looking great:

More work is also being done on the wall next to the Pinocchio Village Haus' restrooms:

More trees have appeared next to Beast's Castle and Maurice's Cottage:

Maurice's Cottage looks absolutely fantastic already:

Take a look at all the details of this structure:

Beast's Castle is now again partially hidden by trees:

...but it looks great as well:

The rest of Belle's Village is rapidly taking shape:

This should be the Bounjour! Gift Shop:
