Confirmed: 3 New Merlin Attractions Coming Soon

It has finally been confirmed: Three new Merlin attractions will come very soon to sunny Central Florida.
If you have been readers of our site since a long time, you may remember our updates about I-Drive Live (previously called I-Walk Orlando), the huge entertainment complex that is currently still in the works, and that should be built on a quite large patch of land along International Drive. Well, it looks like the Merlin Entertainment Company has finalized the project, which is rumored to include a giant wheel, a Sea Life Aquarium and a Madame Tussauds wax museum.

But, how can we be sure that Merlin is actually working on these three new additions? Well, take a look at the current map of the Merlin attractions around the United States, taken from the company's official website:

Three New Attractions Coming Soon to Florida!

The website also states the following:

More attractions coming soon!
We are currently building 3 more great attractions in the Florida area which are scheduled to open in 2013. Check back soon for more details.

There is only one thing that gives us a doubt: the location of the three "stars." As you may have noticed, it looks like the three new attractions should be located in Tampa, the Everglades (wow!), and Miami. Of course, it is probably due to the fact that there's limited space on the map, and it is safe to assume that all these new additions will come to Central Florida. Oh, and by the way, Merlin will soon start to sell new Annual Passes that will grant guests access to all the Merlin attractions in the United States! For more information, click here.

As you can see, there are many things we can look forward to! These three new attractions should be revealed soon. Please, stay tuned, as we continue to keep you up-to-date!

  1. Wouldn't that be the Orlando Eye/Madame Tussauds/Sea Life Aquariaum coming to I-Drive Live? That seems more plausible than stuff coming to the Everglades.
