Special Fantasyland Update From the Contemporary

Welcome to a very special Fantasyland update!

Today, we are going to show you the progress that has been done in the new Fantasyland area... from above. Well, no, we didn't take an helicopter ride (that'd be great!), but thanks to the Contemporary Resort and its "sister" resort, the Bay Lake Tower, we were able to get some nice shots of the buildings and the attractions that are currently under construction. Let's take a look:

As usual, we want to start with some panoramic pictures of the park:

A large crane was up for the installation of the dreamlights:

Once we moved to the top of the  Bay Lake Tower, the crane was gone:

Going back to Fantasyland, work has started on the biggest tower of the Pinocchio Village Haus:

A look at the great Beast's Castle:

The rock-work looks incredible:

It looks very realistic. They are doing a very fine job, as always:

Notice the entrance to the castle on the very bottom of this picture:

Beast's Castle through the spires of Space Mountain:

Belle's Cottage is coming along too:

The roof is looking nice, even though it's not done yet:

The most surprising part of our day was seeing Belle's Village. Many buildings have already been completed (talking about the structures, of course. The theming will be applied in the near future)!:

They look great:

Moving to our right, we find the Little Mermaid's castle:

The rock-work that encompasses the ride's building is absolutely massive:

They are still working on adding more fake rock-work on the back. Notice also Dumbo's three-ring circus:

...and that is all, for now:

We want to conclude with this picture that we took yesterday, along with all our Fantasyland photos. In black and white, it looks like it was taken forty years ago (minus the new Tomorrowland theming):

Thank you very much for reading, and stay tuned for many more Fantasyland pictures, coming soon!

As usual, we want to leave you by reminding you that we keep on doing our best by providing you all the news and rumors from the parks, including photo-updates like this one so, if you would like to show us your appreciation for the hard work we do every day, please consider making a small donation, by clicking on the "DONATE" button located on top of the sidebar. Also, remember that, if you want, you can join our official Facebook page and post comments at the end of each post. Thanks again for reading, and have a great rest of the day!

  1. I love the row of yellow-orange trees in the first picture. Nice sign of Fall.
