Caleb the manatee released at Blue Springs State Park

Caleb was a 460-pound manatee suffering from cold stress at Blue Springs State Park in Orange City, Fla. when he was brought to SeaWorld Orlando by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) on January 21, 2011.

While being cared for, Caleb gained 230 lbs and weighed a total of 690 lbs upon his release. Animal care experts from SeaWorld Orlando released Caleb the manatee at Blue Springs on September 29, 2011.

SeaWorld’s animal rescue team is on call 24/7 to save and care for injured, orphaned or ill animals including manatees like Caleb.

Here's also a nice video of the release of the Manatee:

As usual, we want to commend SeaWorld Orlando and its associates for all the time they spend in trying to care for the local wildlife. Great job.
