The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats Start to Perform at Epcot

The Disney Parks Blog has just announced that a new entertainment group has finally replaced the Dragon Legend Acrobats, which left Epcot earlier this year. The new troupe of acrobats is called "The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats." Here you are some moire information about them, as well as some photos:

In China, it is customary for aspiring athletes and acrobats to begin training and preparation at a very early age. The dream is to audition and be selected to join a professional acrobat troupe. The Jeweled Dragon Acrobats are such a troupe and they have just launched a year-long engagement at Epcot, arriving directly from China. Consisting of six men and two women, all between 18 and 21 years old, the talented performers have been together as a troupe for three years.
These gifted acrobats perform five shows daily, five days a week in the China courtyard and showcase extraordinary feats of strength, agility and balance. I discovered this amazing troupe yesterday afternoon and am displaying a small gallery of snapshots to whet your appetite. Did I say amazing?

We are happy to see that the Chinese pavilion has finally received a new outdoor show, as when the Dragon Legend Acrobats left, there were very few things to see, other than Reflections of China and a few other small exhibits. Of course, as you have read, "The Jeweled Dragons" will remain at the pavilion for just a year. What will happen after that? Hopefully, they will have other entertainment groups to fill the gap.
