Blizzard Beach to Remain Closed Today Due to Rain

It is continuing to rain here in Central Florida, and it hasn't stopped since yesterday morning; therefore, even though the temperature is still very nice, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park will not operate today:

Advisory ~ Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed for the day on October 9, 2011

Please be advised that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed on Sunday October 9, 2011.

It is extremely rare that rains hangs out more than just a few hours here in Central Florida, but it does happen one or two days a year. We are sorry for all those who are visiting the parks today. Tomorrow, though, you can be sure that the sun will start to shine once again, and temperatures will get back to the upper 80's (now, we are in the 70's, which is fine, but a bit too low for October, here in Florida).
