Test Track's Refurbished Vehicles - PHOTOS

Test Track has recently received some refurbished vehicles, as we reported last week. Today, we bring you some pictures of these cars. Keep in mind that they're not brand-new vehicles, though. Indeed, we were told by one of the ride's cast members that the only thing that has been changed is the body of the car. The rest (including the motor) has not been changed.

Before showing you the refurbished vehicles, here's a picture of the look of the original cars, which are still being used today (the number of the new vehicles is very limited):

You can tell right away that these are not brand-new vehicles, as we discussed before. In fact, they're exactly the same as the old ones, with a much nicer look. These cars now have also a covered bumper in the front, which showcases a Chevrolet logo (keep in mind that Chevrolet is owned by General Motors, the current sponsor of the ride):

Another thing to keep in mind: do not confuse the new vehicles with the older blue cars. They look very, very similar. Take a look:

Now, what does this mean? Why did they introduce this new look? Well, as some of you may know, there are some very interesting rumors that hint to a major refurbishment of this very popular ride, that should take place in 2012. We will see if these rumors will come true, or if Disney is just planning on renovating the look of the ride's vehicles, without having anything else in mind.

Oh, and just for your information, it looks like there are only two (2) refurbished vehicles in the ride, as of now. Many more could come soon.
