Hollywood Studios Update: Narnia's Last Days (Part 1)

Welcome to a new Disney's Hollywood Studios update! As always, we are going to take a look at the entire park, looking for new additions, changes, and more. Let's start with some photos of the "Let the Memories Begin!" sign, which is right next to the main entrance of the park:

It looks quite nice, especially because it reflects the theme of the park. It is not just a nondescript billboard:

Oscar's Super Service:

Mickey Mouse greets us in one of his many parks:

Yes, he stands right on the top of the Crossroads of the World:

The Crossroads, as seen from Hollywood Boulevard, the park's distinctive main street:

Looking toward the hat:

The Dark Room shop has just received a very quick refurbishment:

Nothing has really changed, neither inside, nor outside the shop:

It is still presented by Kodak:

Pluto is back on top of its own shop, Pluto's TOY palace:

He has been under refurbishment for a couple of weeks, and it looks great:

On the back:

The recently-refurbished "Adrian & Edith's Head to Toe" shop has its sign back:

I dream of the day I will not have to see this anymore:

Voyage of the Little Mermaid has also been down for refurbishment for the last few weeks. No major changes to report:

Near the Magic of Disney Animation, new banners advertising the Lion King movie in 3D have been installed:

In the queue of the Disney Junior show they've finally installed new LCD televisions:

Around the park, there are these lights with plants hanging. Did you know that they have a hidden Mickey?:

There it is!:

This was also one of the last few days of operation for the infamous "Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian" attraction. We'll have a full tribute soon (even though the attraction doesn't really deserve it):

And, that is all for part 1. But, we are not done yet. PART 2 has some more pictures! Check it out.

  1. I'm kinda sad to see Narnia go...I know it stinks now (and honestly, I haven't gone in it recently) but I miss the days when Prince Caspian was a meetable character and actually made the attraction a must-see for me. He was a great character and meeting him was really cool. THAT'S why I'll miss Narnia...just like the HP Exhibition in NYC though, it's boring and pointless and needs to go. Maybe they'll make it cool again...who knows what Disney'll think up this time?
