Old Town Update - A Walk Around the Park (PART 1)

Hello, and welcome to a new Old Town update! Recently, we had the great opportunity of checking out the new AMPVenture Experience (you can see all the pictures and videos HERE), but now it's time to check out the rest of the park! Let's see together what's new:

(NOTE: Since these pictures were taken during the early afternoon, you may notice the small amount of visitors that were strolling around the park, but crowds usually build up after 6 p.m., especially during the weekends).

From the park's ferris wheel, you can get a quite nice view of the 192 and of the park itself:

You can even see the nearby Fun Spot U.S.A.:

...and, of course, the huge "Slingshot":

The Flying Dutchman:

This is a brand-new ride, which was installed just about a month ago:

Some new games have been installed in the area nearby the Flying Dutchman:

But now, let's go right into the famous main street of Old Town:

The former Nike shop will soon be replaced by a new quick service restaurant:

It will be called "Jimmy John's":

As you can see, the park is really trying to renovate its public areas. One first step that has been taken is repainting the sidewalks:

In this spot, another new addition will come soon. We'll keep you updated on what happens:

The Old Town Puppets is a very nice place, and the owner is really entertaining:

Among the many puppets, you may even find some very familiar faces:

One of the many central hubs of the park:

Another vacant shop, which should soon be replaced:

The signature Old Town clock:

The Old Town Bull attracts a lot of people during the evening, as they laugh at people trying to use their equilibrium on the rowdy bull:

Something's missing here:

Let's continue:

This is one of the shops that uses the best marketing strategies:

At the entrance of the store, they have a very soothing, gentle music that plays, setting the mood for a relaxation:

Just outside, they even offer some samples of the products they use inside:

I'm sure that many would like to have a moment to relax, and all these things will make many people more interested in giving it a try:

So, are you relaxed enough? Well, we have to move on anyway, so please, go to PART 2 of this update, by clicking on the Home Page! Thanks!
