Universal Studios Update - JAWS Down and More

It is finally time to take a look at Universal Studios Florida. This week we'll see a closed JAWS, an unfortunately open Fear Factor LIVE!, Jimmy Neutron, and much more. Let's start right away:

A very sad day... JAWS is a great ride, and every time it is down, it feels like something important is missing:

Work on the new snack location is continuing:

Jimmy Neutron is living its last days of operation:

The Vinyls are playing daily in front of "Mel's Drive-In":

We would like to see a new exhibit in this area, which is almost completely abandoned:

Madagascar's truck:

The Simpsons Ride still looks great:

Sad news: Fear Factor was open... again. They have to get rid of this thing. NOW!:

JAWS was down, but don't worry, yesterday it was its last day of refurbishment (we took these pictures yesterday), so, if you're going to Universal Studios in these days, fear not!:

After thanking the Phoenicians, remember to thank Chief Brody for the care he shows for us!:

This is one of the most photographed icons in any Universal theme park (after the spinning globe):

Walls around the ride's lagoon:

What do you say? Should we look above the walls?:

It is always very interesting to see JAWS water-less:

How it should look:

How it looked (by the way, one of the boats is missing...):

It looks like they've stopped replacing the rotten wooden fence around the lagoon... they were doing such a good job replacing it! They should start again soon:

And we conclude with a look at this beautiful poster of Twister: Ride It Out!

Thanks a lot for viewing, and stay tuned for more updates! Remember to post comments and to join our official Facebook page!

  1. Hey, when I went to universal studios on July 12 the wait for Jimmy neutron was 45 minutes and they were using the whole queue! luckily I had an express pass to skip the whole line so I could get my last rides on Jimmy neutron. I saw in the after show room that much of the stuff is gone like you said so.

  3. Very revealing photos in Jaws. I agree with Bigfoots, I thought the water level was deeper too! I assume that OTPN is not very fond of Fear Factor Live? :)

  4. I honestly hate how you guys hate on Jimmy Neutron SO MUCH, yet you guys LOVE Twister. Jimmy Neutron is one of the few rides at Universal that kids will enjoy. Twister is a waste of space.
