Fantasyland Update: New Castle Walls Start to Go Up

Here we are, ready to go with a new Fantasyland update for you! This week, we found a good amount of new details and new structures on the other part of the Fantasyland walls, and while we cannot go "on site" to take pictures (we wish we could!), we tried as always to do our best by taking pictures from certain angles that allows you to see these new "additions".

Let's start with a look at the old Skyway, that has almost been completely demolished:

It looks like work has stalled. We came here last week too, but we didn't notice any change here:

Work on the roof of the tower near "It's a Small World" is almost completely done:

You can see new spires here:

Let's see... what has changed here?:

From Pinocchio's Village Haus:

Oh, yes. The very last planter in this section of the old Fantasyland has finally been removed!:

This is what we were all waiting for! The first castle walls are definitely going up!:

Great to see them:

Now, let's take a look at the work being done on the Beauty and the Beast's area:

The new rock-work looks incredibly realistic:

Belle's village is really coming along!:

The castle tower behind the village has lost its roof:

Nice touches:

The castle:

A few HIGH-RESOLUTION pictures for you to watch more closely:

Belle's cottage:

Once the rock-work will be completely done, the Beast's castle will look at least double its size:

I had never noticed this, but behind the "Friar's Nook" there's a castle spire, which has always been there (in a few words, it is not new). It should represent the continuation of the castle walls! Works great:

A look at the progress on the Little Mermaid's Castle:

The rock-work has received a new color:

Good to see that the rock-works of the two areas will be different in color:

More pictures of the area:

The other side still has to receive the new color:

Over the walls:

Work on Dumbo's Circus continues:

A new structures is going vertical in Storybook Circus, probably related to Casey Jr.:

- Other miscellaneous news -

Since the walls have been moved... :

Winnie the Pooh had to move too! He now meets-and-greets with Rabbit behind the Mad tea Cups:

Inside Winnie the Pooh's queue, the water feature is once again not operating!:

And, of course, Tigger's Bouncy Place is as closed as ever. How sad!:

And this concludes our new Fantasyland update! Thank you very much for viewing!

We'll leave you by reminding you that we continue to do our best in keeping you up-to-date with all the news and rumors from the parks, and if you would like to show us your appreciation for the hard work we do, please consider making a small donation, by clicking HERE. That is a great place to sit at dusk and catch a late dinner/snack and watch the lights of the MK come to life. We've done that the few trips and it's a nice way to catch a needed 2nd (or 5th) wind to close out the day.
