Harley-Davidson Moves, Apricot Lane Comes In

Two updates regarding Downtown Disney: First of all, the Harley-Davidson store, previously located at Pleasure Island, has moved to the West side. Second, a brand-new store, called Apricot Lane, will replace the former Harley-Davidson location in Pleasure Island. Here's the news:

As part of our Re-Imagining Downtown Disney efforts, Orlando Harley-Davidson is moving from Pleasure Island to the Downtown Disney West Side. This unique store features genuine Harley-Davidson merchandise such as T-shirts, gifts and collectibles, and showcases custom Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The store will also have a new custom vest offering that will be very unique, as well as a new photo imaging opportunity that allows guests to be photographed in genuine Harley-Davidson gear on a motorcycle with a background of their choosing, such as a bike ride along a beach, through the Bad Lands or even on the Pacific Coast Highway. Other features include the popular Harley-Davidson merchandise in a totally new and immersive motorcycle experience along with the rumbling sounds of a Harley-Davidson engine and video of riders enjoying the Harley lifestyle.

The Pleasure Island location is closed today, June 30, and the new Orlando Harley-Davidson location opens at the Downtown Disney West Side July 1.

We are happy to announce that Apricot Lane, a specialty retail store, will soon be joining the One Downtown Disney family in the former Harley location. This trendy boutique recently opened a location at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, and carries an impressive collection of branded fashion apparel, jewelry, handbags and accessories to create the most current looks at an affordable price.

Construction on the Apricot Lane store will begin soon, and we expect it to open late July or early August. We will share more information in the coming weeks.

Not extremely exciting news, but it surely means that Hyperion Wharf is bringing some changes to the area...
