Fun Spot U.S.A. update - New Coaster Almost Finished

Fun Spot U.S.A. is working really hard to complete the new roller coaster that they've bought, the Power Trip Coaster! Let's see how it looks like, after just two weeks of construction:

As you can see, they're almost done. There are just a few pieces left:

New railings, to make it safe for guests:

A lot of steel:

The crane being used to put together all the pieces of the coaster:

It looks very nice. I hope they'll add some theming around it. If you know what we like, you know that theming is the first thing we look for:

Of course, very, very few wild mouse coaster are themed, so I don't expect anything major:

The logo of the Power Trip Coaster can be seen on the small billboard in the background:

Goin' around:

These are the people that put together the coaster. After a 5-minute break, they were back to work! That's what I call efficient work! Great job:

This part of the ride looks fun:

They've left the retro-looking sign on top of the coaster. Very nice move. The only issue may be that people could get confused by multiple names for the same ride

- UPDATE -

Our very kind friend Judy, from Fun Spot U.S.A., has officially told us that they will remove the old sign as soon as the new sign will be delivered to the park :

By the way, they'll soon take all the coaster cars that are placed all around the park, and put them on the tracks:

Work is also continuing inside the arcade:

The new sign for food items and beverages (they also have Nathan's Hot Dogs!!):

They've also installed the first arcade games:

Nearby the arcade's entrance, a new sing for the "Wacky Warehouse" has been installed:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They'll soon take all the coaster cars that are placed all around the park, and put them on the tracks:

A general overview of this very nice park:

That is all for now! More updates about Fun Spot U.S.A. should come later next week. Thanks for viewing!

  1. I'm entirely confused.. RCDB.com still says the official name is Galaxy Spin, Fun Spot is using that name for most of the ads and even has the name on the coaster but then they have another ad saying Power Trip. What? Lol

  2. I know, it's a bit confusing to me too...

  3. Maybe it will be Galaxy Spin sponsored by Power Trip energy drinks?

  4. When Fun Spot first bought the coaster They did not have a sponsor so it was advertised as Galaxy Spin, the original name from Cypress Gardens. Now that it has a sponsor the name will change to "The Power Trip Coaster". The old sign is up until the new sign is received. Hope that will clarify things a little =)
