Epcot Update - Work on New Japanese Stand & More

Hello, and welcome to a new Epcot update. Today, we'll take a look at what's going on in this absolutely amazing theme park (sorry, I can't help it. I love Epcot!), and we'll also check out the work on the new quick service stand that is currently under construction in the Japanese pavilion.

Let's start by taking a close look at one of the best theme park icons ever created: Spaceship Earth:

Work continues on the broken "Leave-a-Legacy" stone:

You can never have enough pictures of Spaceship Earth:

Trying to be artsy:

Going towards the Fountains of Nations:

"What's your Problem?" Well, there's still no replacement for that show, that's my problem!:

A look at the Imagination pavilion:

In the post-show of "Journey Into Imagination with Figment", a new feature has been added, which exactly as lame as the entire pavilion (in its current form, of course). It is just a wall that lights up in different colors. Yeah, it's nice to see, but it is not interactive at all, and, well... there's already no substance in this post-show, so why adding things that people can't even interact with?:

The lights continuously change color. That's all. That's what we have waited to see, after months of work behind the walls:

The end of the beautiful Flower & Garden Festival means that the beautiful Bambi's Butterfly House is gone.
Hope to see it next year too!:

The sand sculptures are gone too:

The year-round garden is here to stay, of course, otherwise it wouldn't be year-round, right?:

Going to World Showcase, we encounter the U.K. pavilion:

France:

Morocco:

...And Japan. We'll stop here, to see what's new:

The Kaki-Gori stand, previously located next to the big, blue world pagoda, has now been temporarily relocated near the Japanese Garden:

They're working on a new quick-service location over there:

It looks like the building is going to be very extensive!:

A new sign tells people that Kaki-Gori has relocated:

The wall is even longer than what you can see in this picture. Good sign:

At the American Garden Theater, the "Sounds Like Summer" Concert have started:

Work on the American Adventure fountain:

Rapunzel's tower is gone:

A new structure has been added to the African Pavilion, or so it seems:

I can be wrong, but it looks new to me (or, at the very least, repainted):

China is our last stop (I know, we missed Canada, Norway and Mexico. Sorry!):

The newly-renovated outside store has been reopened:

A look inside:

It is much nicer now, with the addition of more theming and a better overall appearance:

They even added a new painting on the wall, representing a Koi fish:

And that's all for now! Later we'll even post a Fantasyland update!

Before leaving, we'd like to remind you that we strive to do our best in keeping you up-to-date with all the news and rumors from the parks, and continually post photo-updates, so if you would like to show us your appreciation for all our hard work, please consider making a small donation, by clicking HERE. 2. Actually, The new device in the imageworks is not useless... it apparently is used as a "simonsez" type game...at least that's what I've been told.
