Beneath the Surface: The Making of "One Ocean" - Whales & Trainers

The sixth video in our series “Beneath the Surface” focuses on the whales and their trainers. The presentation of these extraordinary animals connects guests to the sea with a new level of energy and excitement, all while educating and inspiring guests to make a difference in this world.

Positive reinforcement is at the core of the relationship between these majestic animals and their trainers. This reinforcement comes in many forms including rubs, toys, ice cubes, games and food.
"One Ocean" features spectacular whale behaviors, including thrilling high-energy leaps and multiple whales performing simultaneously. The whales interact in new ways with trainers, the audience and each other.
“One Ocean” is now open at SeaWorld Orlando. It opens at SeaWorld San Diego on Memorial Day weekend and SeaWorld San Antonio in June.
