Mickey's Toontown Fair IS CLOSED

Now, at exactly 8 p.m., the magic Kingdom has closed, and with it, an entire themed area has disappeared.

Mickey’s Toontown Fair had its last day of operation today Friday, February 11, 2011.
It has been closed to begin transformation into the Storybook Circus section of New Fantasyland.

Starting Saturday, February 12, the following entertainment changes take effect:
• Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will greet guests from the Tomorrowland patio, located to the right of Space Mountain (called the "Sunken Garden").
• The Disney Princesses will hold court in the Adventureland Veranda.
• Set times for these locations will be included in the Magic Kingdom Times Guide.
• Tinker Bell and friends will be joining the cast at Epcot, greeting guests at the Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden near MouseGear.

Stay tuned for a huge Mickey's Toontown fair Tribute Tomorrow, and please, post your opinions, sharing with us if you will miss Toontown or not!

  1. Bye bye Toon Fair (i really don't like it, not for the quality of the building but for the general loud and confusion of thousand of child, crazy for Mikey), and welcome Storybook Circus!!!

    Sam, can you tell us what will be maintained and what will be replaced?

    Thanks

  2. I agree with you on that, Bigfoots! i don't know if I'm going to miss Mickey's Toontown fair...

    Anyway, the things that are STAYING, with a different theme, are:

    - The Barnstormer;
    - Two of the three Circus tents;
    - The train station

    What's going AWAY:

    - Mickey's Country House;
    - Minnie's Country house;
    - One of the three circus tents;
    - Donald's Boat;
    - Judge's Tent;
    - Pete's Garage;
    - Toontown Farmers market.

    That is all! But we're getting some better things, very soon!
