Dave and Buster's construction update (Jan. 2011)

Here you are some construction pictures of the new restaurant that is being built along the I-4 that has replaced the old (and abandoned) Race Rock Cafe:

Sorry for the blurry pictures, but I was inside the car:

This is becoming a very big building, possibly even bigger than the old Race rock one:

  1. Never eaten there before, frankly. The idea of a Dave and Busters is cool, but I'm in no rush to spend $20 for food and a few games, when I can go to my nearby cheap theater, see a two hour movie and get a pizza, drinks and two tickets for the same price. Much better experience.

  4. Dave and Buster's isn't a restaurant! I've been before and you definitely don't go for the food. The food is OK at best but the arcade is the real reason to go. Basically, it's an enormous arcade that also serves food. Some of the bigger ones will have bowling alleys as well. I've been to them multiple times and they're really fun and have good, easy to win prizes.

  5. Eric, I don't know what theater you're going to, but to get everything you said at my theater it would cost around $40. By the way, Dave and Buster's doesn't have a "few games", it's huge! And they let you choose how many credits you want to buy for games. You could spend as little as $5 on games if you wanted to.
