Changes coming to Downtown Disney MARKETPLACE

Changes to Downtown Disney Merchandise Offerings Effective January 15, 2011

The building that houses Pooh Corner, Summer Sands and Mickey’s Mart in the Downtown Disney Marketplace is closing for refurbishment on January 15, 2011.  They will be transforming the building into two new retail experiences:

• The Disney-operated Mickey’s Mart (working title), planned to open in March 2011, will offer guests unique Disney gifts at great prices.
• In addition, LittleMissMatched will move from its temporary location at the Downtown Disney West Side to a permanent home in the Downtown Disney Marketplace in spring 2011. Providing fun and colorful socks, accessories, apparel and more, LittleMissMatched has been wildly successful and is a perfect addition to the other unique Downtown Disney Marketplace offerings.

Well, that's a good news, isn't it? Disney Souvenirs are usually a bit expansive, so everybody will appreciate the new "Mickey's Mart".
