Around the World (Showcase): UNITED KINGDOM

Finally, after more than a month, our weekly feature "Around the World... Showcase" has returned!
We are not sure if we'll be able to make it again weekly, but here you are this new update on the

UNITED KINGDOM

The United Kingdom pavilion is the largest of them all:

They have some really great fish and chips here! And they're fresh, as the fish arrives here DAILY!:

Nice surroundings:

In that small house that looks like coming from "Alice in Wonderland" they sell a lot of different kinds of teas, all from the very well-established "Twinings" company:

Nice:

This is a sport shop. You can find many articles dedicated to soccer and other sports:

Going inside the village:

Some more shops:

In this nice garden you can find the "British Invasion Players" daily, and they're really great!:

More pictures of this amazing place:

Going back:

The "Rose and Crown" pub is very popular:

And we end with some nice shots of this reproduction of an English castle!:

That hides some bathrooms:

  2. Next to Mexico, the UK is my favorite pavilion. The flowers and quietness of the area is one of EPCOT's last true wonders.

  3. Here's some fun trivia for you all: The big building on "Upper Regency Street" across from the gazebo where the band plays has a big square window with 20 window panes. Anyone know what it is in there? Answer: When the band is playing look at the window and you'll see the sound engineer for the band! This is especially easy to see at night.

  4. Thanks for the comments! And, Jason, that's a very nice fact! I didn't know that! Next time that I go and see the British Invasion I will look for that particular thing! Thanks!
And, if you would like to know how how I took those pictures, well... Imagine going there very early.
