The Adventureland Veranda

Today we'll get a glimpse of a long-gone, quick-service restaurant of the Magic Kingdom, which has been left unused since many years. Indeed, I've never had the pleasure of eating there. Anyway, there was a moment in which, while exiting the park at around 7.00 p.m. I noticed this sign here:

So I decided to wait for just a couple of minutes to see if they were going to open it.... and they did.

Of course, it's not used as a restaurant anymore. As you can see from this pictures, the right part of the restaurant (where I supposes you could find the counters) is walled off:

Some pictures of the interior:

People got to meet some Disney characters:

Hallo, Baloo!

More plants covering some parts of the restaurant:

The restaurant had also a second floor:

One of the many chandeliers hanging from the ceiling:

To conclude our trip.. to the past, I just add that I'm sad to see this place closed. The Magic Kingdom has way too many closed or rarely-open restaurants! In addition to the "Adventureland Veranda", among other restaurants that are closed we find: "The Diamond Horseshoe" (SEASONAL), "The Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant" (barely SEASONAL), "El Pirata y el Perico (SEASONAL), "Aunt Polly's" (NEVER SEEN IT OPEN) and more. I think they should at least put something else in their place.

What do you think?
