Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy

As we confirmed some months ago, "Katonga" (a Broadway-style show in Busch Gardens Tampa) will be finally replaced by a new, exciting show called "Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy".
It will NOT be an ice-skating show as some rumors were saying, but it will be very energetic and (I hope) more interesting than "Katonga", which, by the way, will close soon.

Here's the confirmed news by BroadwayWorld.com:

"More than 50 million fans worldwide have attended a Cirque Dreams show in the past decade. Critics and audiences alike have praised Cirque Dreams shows as "The grandest circus spectacle east of Vegas;" New York Magazine, "A whiz-bang family friendly spectacle;" Los Angeles Times and "brilliantly conceived entertainment for multiple generations" Chicago Tribune. In 2008, Cirque Dreams made Broadway history by presenting Goldberg's CIRQUE DREAMS JUNGLE FANTASY at the Broadway Theatre, the first and only show of its kind to ever perform on Broadway. The production recently remounted for a limited 2010 summer engagement at the MGM Grand/Foxwoods featuring the original pop princess Debbie Gibson, in the singing role of Mother Nature. A new year-round version of the show will open December 1, 2010 at Busch Gardens Tampa."

And here's also an overview of the show, from Cirque Dreams' official website, including a SPOILER VIDEO:

Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy has been proclaimed, “The grandest circus spectacle east of Vegas” by New York Magazine.  The show, which debuted at the Broadway theatre in June 2008, is the first and only show of its kind ever to perform on Broadway.  This groundbreaking theatrical, acrobatic and musical adventure was a Broadway must-see sensation for audiences of all ages.

Created and directed by Neil Goldberg, CIRQUE DREAMS Jungle Fantasy is an exotic encounter inspired by nature’s unpredictable creations that are brought to life by an international cast of soaring aerialists, spine-bending contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and musicians.  The astounding feats performed in this action packed Cirque Dream are enhanced with spectacular costumes nominated for an American Theatre Wing Best Costume Design Award and come to life in a fantastical jungle setting ignited by striking visual effects.  From the breathtaking soaring aerial butterflies to the balancing giraffes, gigantic flowers, trees and kings of the jungle, this world-class explosion of athleticism, theatre and imagination will exhilarate and entertain audiences of all ages.

WARNING! The video may be considered a SPOILER! If you want to see it in person, you may skip it (even though it doesn't reveal anything about Busch Gardens' version of the show):

Well, this sounds really good, and it kind of reminds me of "Cirque du Soleil" (in a smaller scale, of course).
What do you think? Will it be similar to "Katonga"?

A big thanks to BGTguide for the news!
