Toy Story 3 secrets!

Yes, the best Disney Movie of the year has some pretty cool hidden secrets that are fun and interesting.
For example, did you know that Sid, the bad boy in Toy Story 1 makes an appearance also in Toy Story 3 as a garbage man?

Or, did you know that the "real" Andy is in reality 26 years old??

Read more fun facts here, at AMUSEMENT INSIDER!

By the way, it's time for a new poll!
Which was your favorite Pixar movie of all time?
I can just write some of them in the poll, but if you have other titles in mind, please write them in the box where it says "other"!

Thanks for giving us your opinion!

  1. Tough call, there, really. I can list several Pixar movies that I loved. It seems, on the other hand, that I'm the only one that didn't care for Monsters, Inc..

  2. Not really Eric. I didn't care that much for Monters either.

  3. Really? IMHO Monsters, INC. was a good movie, but I absolutely can't stand the Incredibles... it's so pointless...

  4. Well. I'm only giving the perspective from the recollection of when I saw them. The first time. Cause in all honesty ,I haven't seen them a lot, since I first saw them.

    So here's my breakdown:

-T.S. 1 and 2 I don't remember so I need to see them again. (So, no opinion here)
-Monters Inc.- Just didn't leave a lasting impression for me.
-Finding Nemo, although I can't remember that much, when I first saw it I remember when they were at the Dentist office tank(Right?) feeling bored, and the blue fish female character, I now it was supposed to be funny, but I remember thinking she can't remember stuff, that's not funny, that's just cruel.
-Up,For Me it's just sad, there's just too much sadness in it. So by movie's end although they found friendship it didn't fully clear me from the earlier pain.
-The Incredibles it's actually the only one of those, that I sort of owned. Cause my mother like it so much, she bought it on DVD. So ok, the story is not the strongest, but I really like the Island theme, and the (Edna?)character. Those 2 things I really liked.
-Ratatoiulle, I remember exiting the theater, thinking, now that's how you do a good Disney/Pixar movie. Two outcasts theming up and doing something worth of admiration. It's just appealing to me.
-Wall e, it wasn't that strong for me. But I like the space theme a lot. A lot! What made it a nice movie was the fact he was different. Like in the Rebel kind of way. He didn't follow the lines. (literally)Lol. So by doing this it started affecting all the other characters. Like infecting them, and by making them walk outside the line, it change them. For the better...

  5. ~ So, to continue...

-A Bugs life, I liked, I really don't remember why. Lol. But I did.

To the good ones. (from my point of view that is)

-Cars, it's just a great film. Great! I did found the idea of cars doing everything a little silly. But still, I would have to rate it as great. The selfish @#$%*&@ (guy) changing and becoming a thoughtful dude that care for others. Well it's just fiction I know! Ha,ha! But still good fiction.

-Toy Story 3 I've already gave my opinion about it. Samuele since I know that saying something less that was the greatest movie ever will fall short by your standards. Lol. I would say, is the best movie I've seen this year. But the Dragons movie it's beautiful to look at, and if Avatar came this year,(not sure) there just not anything close to the experience. The experience on 3D that is, cause the story is really not the greatest of all time. Not even close! But since I didn't see Toy Story in 3D, I can't really compare them, apples to apples.

Why this two at the top? Cause They're a trip. Is like a Journey, with adventure, joy and sorrow, but more importantly, they gave me a sense of closure. When I left the theater I was feeling full of emotion and happiness!

How about it Samuele? Which movie did or didn't you like?
Why so long? Cause it felt like some explaining was needed. So why stop at one! Lol. But I think you like to read. (Samuele) Right? I know my opinion it's not really shared by most people, but it almost never is...

  6. I forgot to ask. What did you mean the real Andy? The person/kid, the character was based on? Or the person/kid who did in the movie?

  7. Francisco, thank you as always! Your comment are really expressive, and I really really appreciate all the efforts you put into them!

About those films, ok, I'll tell you which i like/don't like!

TOY STORY 1,2,3 - ALL great movies. Especially the third one. The feelings, the characters and the story really blend perfectly. Great.

A BUGS LIFE - I liked this one too, but it's not my absolute favorite. Personally i like far more "It's tough to be a bug" :-)

MONSTERS,INC. - The story was really funny, and also the characters (especially Roz) had great characteristics.

UP - I agree with you. There's TOO MUCH sadness in that film! But maybe, that's why it was so successful! The story is too unbelievable, though..

FINDING NEMO - Yes, it has became a Disney classic, and I like the story, but TOY STORY is better.

THE INCREDIBLES - I hate that movie. So stupid, and the gags are soo boring... No, thanks.

WALL-e and CARS - Haven't seen them.. yet!

Oh, I was forgetting, the "REAL" Andy is the real boy that inspired the PIXAR animators (to draw the grown-up Andy)...

I hope that this explains it all!

  8. Thanks for the reply! Then, you got to see Cars, and Wall-e. You will probably like them. For me especially Cars! Even do is not getting that much love in the poll. Cause Wall-e, I just was expecting more, but still Space = cool.

Also, thanks for the acknowledgment!! I hope you really meant it, and not that this is your way of saying that I write too much. Lol. This is my opinion, I feel that people here except for Bigfoots, don't say enough. I don't mean to get you in trouble or anything, but sometimes it looks like people instead of writing comments were sending e-mails or tweets. Like they were getting charge by the letter or something! Lol. Again, thanks!

  9. Thank you Francisco!! But, why would you think that I don't want you to write? I LOVE to hear other people's opinions!! And I absolutely think too that not many people write comments here, and that's not so good, because it seems like my posts are not interesting... Even a few words!
But the more you write, the better!!
Again, I really appreciate your comments!!
