Last tour to Endor

As you know, STAR TOURS at Disney's Hollywood Studios will close on August 15, 2010 to receive a complete rehab that will last until 2011, bringing a brand new film (that will be in 3D) and new special effects.

Today the official Disney Parks blog disclosed an interesting news. The day before STAR TOURS' closure, there will be a huge celebration, called "LAST TOUR TO ENDOR".

Here's the website homepage:

As you see, it will be an after-hour party, with fireworks, shows, and more.
Will you be able to attend? Of course, you have to love the attraction and the films to really enjoy the party.

For more info, please visit StarWarsCelebration.com, and to buy the tickets (that are $75 per person), you can go to the official Walt Disney World website.

  1. As Luke Skywalker said:"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!"
I will go there in October and the place of my dream will be close!!!
I live observing the ancient Jedi Code... and now... nothing will be there!
My wife will be Happy, because last time I spent 2 our inside the shop.
Samu don't you know if there will be an alternative show or maybe a "Meet the Jedi" just to remember the amazing park section.
Do you think they will cover the amazing AT-AT Walker?

  2. Hey Bigfoots, don't be sad, because even though you will miss it in October, imagine next time you come to visit us! You will find a brand new, technologically advanced experience that will blow away the previous version...
And I think that the AT-AT Walker will be covered as well, but I'm not sure if they will leave the Jedi Training academy (the show near the attraction...).
Anyways, you'l have a good time, don't worry! Remember that this is THE PLACE WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE!!

  3. Just back from Holidays in Florida - when we went on this ride the attendant told us that the new ride will also have multiple show reels - so you dont get the same ride eachtime you go on it - he said something about 140 different films... obviously he was only an attendant but thought it was worth mentioning!

  4. Thank you, Rob!
I think the attendant was almost right. There will be multiple endings, but 140.... it's maybe a bit too much.
    Thanks for sharing!!!
I hope you had a great time!
