Planet Hollywood On Location NOW CLOSED

As you can see in this article on Orlando Attractions Magazine, the PH On Location store is now gone for good. Many may say that nothing changes to them, but think again.
We're really seeing a degeneration of Downtown Disney. I have to say that I like it, because it has that Disney look that other shopping district don't have, but it's becoming a ghost town.
Indeed, after the closure of Pleasure Island (that in my opinion, was bad, with the exception of the Adventurers' Club), many other shops began to close (see Virgin's Megastore, PH's On Location, Starabilias, and others that now i can't recall) leaving empty buildings all over the place.
Of course, Disney announced that they're working on new and exciting additions to DTD, especially in the dead PI, but we're still waiting for news.
So, now we came to the conclusion. Answer to this poll if you please:
Thanks for voting! If you want to say something more or you just don't find the right answer to respond to this poll, just write something in the comments! Thanks again!

  1. I voted for "For me is the best, even if now they're closing something!"

Maybe for you Americans guy DTD is a simple place full of nice shop but from the point of view of the old continent is an amazing place that have no equivalent place here in Europe.

I'm talking about he great theming of every single building or location and about the good night atmosphere that you can breath while walking trough all the DTD's streets.

  2. You're right Bigfoot, and I can fully understand you :-)!
On the other hand, you can see a very small DTD in Paris, at Disneyland, even thought it's MUCH smaller!

  3. I think that DTD can be considerate like an Epcot expansion, giving the possibility to the private investors to become part of the great Epcot atmosphere.
Unfortunately the economic contraction didn't help this place and its shop that haven't the huge Disney's economic coverage.

I think that Disney should give to the new investors a great hand to help the economic restart, encouraging the full occupation of all building to grant a new complete entertainment/shop experience.

  5. When Virgin closed, it all went downhill for me. I only go now when I'm going to the HOB for concerts.
