The Walt Disney World Resort is currently participating in filming some television specials that will air on ABC and Disney Channel in November and December.
Filming will take place during both daytime and evening hours in all Walt Disney World theme parks. On Saturday (November 12, 2016), filming is scheduled to take place in front of the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The three live performances will take place at 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m.


On November 12, several operational impacts are anticipated. Be aware of the following adjustments:
  • Winged Encounters” will not have any performances (other than as part of rope drop);
  • Viva Gaia,” “Sunset Serenatas,” and “Discovery Island Carnivale” will not perform;
  • Wilderness Explorers' flamingo badge will be available at a nearby location;
  • Tarzan will continue to greet Guests, but will not have an alternate location for inclement weather.
  • Disney PhotoPass will have a different location near the Tree of Life.
