It seems hard to believe, but Disney officially confirmed that construction of the new Star Wars Land(s) will begin next month at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park in California. Our Readers will definitely remember that some areas of the park are already behind walls, but all that is being done is still prep work, and that might not even be related to the Star Wars Land project...
Let's take a look around Hollywood Studios while we wait for additional details.

The sign from the former "Let the Memories Begin" is still here:

Welcome to Hollywood Studios:

The Center Stage area of the park is (ironically) better without a stage:

Animation Courtyard:

The Star Wars Launch Bay:

Wait times are much lower now:

Stormtroopers continue to walk around the area:

Echo Lake:

The new characters greeting locations continue to take shape near the ABC Sound Studio. Here, Guests will be able to meet Olaf. The area behind that will be the new home of Mickey and Minnie:

The Star Tours area continues to be quite crowded thanks to the Jedi Training show:

Moving on to the Muppets area:

Pizza Planet will be surrounded by walls for a long time:

The old character greeting areas are also going to be unavailable for quite a while:

The Streets of America:

All of this area will close in just a month:

Toy Story Mania:

The Zootopia sneak peek is still playing at One Man's Dream:

Sunset Boulevard:

Work to extend the awnings continues in the Sunset Ranch Market area:

Rock 'N' Roller Coaster:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks.
