Other than the new WonderSea Island Water Park, Universal Orlando's most exciting project is currently the new addition coming to Islands of Adventure in 2016. As most of our Readers know, this was always rumored to be a King Kong-themed area, even if Universal has not made a formal announcement about it yet. Today, though, we noticed something in the construction area that might take away any doubts you may have in regards to this project.

A few photos behind the walls (NOTE: Once again, we would like to remind our Readers that all the photos seen in any of our updates are taken from Guest areas and without standing on benches or by engaging in unsafe activities. In this case, the photos were taken from the seating area of a restaurant):

The massive building continues to expand. Another new structure is being attached to the front:

Zooming in:

Now, let's go back to the new steel structure seen on the far left in the following photo:

If you have seen the newest King Kong movie, you should recognize this shape fairly quickly:

No, it's not this:

It's more something like this:

A few more closeups:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks.
