Islands of Adventure Update: Slow Season Begins (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of our latest Islands of Adventure photo-report. If you are looking for PART 1 of this same update, click on this link!
In the previous part of this update, we checked out the Port of Entry (as always), Seuss Landing, the Lost Continent, and parts of Jurassic Park. Now we will explore the rest of this themed land, and we will then move on to the rumored King Kong area, Toon Lagoon, and Marvel Superhero Island. Enjoy!:

Back to Jurassic Park:

Jurassic Park River Adventure was also down due to weather:

Camp Jurassic:

Time to check out the future site of the rumored King Kong theme land:

Still lots of dirt:

The new bamboo walls look nice:

Let's take a quick look around the colorful Toon Lagoon:

Merchandise carts closed:

We wouldn't mind if these midway games were removed:

Another cart closed:

Marvel Superhero Island:

The temporary firework barges are gone from the central lagoon (as expected, since they were just used as part of a private event), but the buoys still remain:

And that's all for now:

Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. If you would like to make a donation to OTPN, feel free to use the big "DONATE" button on the sidebar. Thank you very much for your support, and see you again real soon!

  2. Hmmmm... I looked through all the pictures I could find of the area and couldn't find any without the planters, even some really old pictures.

    1. Exactly. I don't think it was ever a fountain. At least, I've always seen it as a planter.
