Islands of Adventure Update: 'Kongstruction' Begins (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around Universal's Islands of Adventure to check out on the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. This time we will focus primarily on the future King Kong themed area, but we will also take a general look around the rest of the park. So, without further ado, let us embark on this virtual tour of the park:

Before the entrance, a new sign advertising Universal's Express has been added to the check-your-height sign:

The other sign should receive another advertisement soon:

The Port of Entry:

This tower has been completely restored:

It looks fantastic after receiving a refurbishment:

The nearby walls have been repainted too:

The wait time board is still down:

Seuss Landing:

Mc Elligot's Pool has also been completely refurbished:

Look at the colors of the sides:

Green Eggs and Ham was open yesterday (the park was slammed with tour groups):

Sadly, the sign has still not been fixed:

A section of "If I Ran the Zoo" is currently being refurbished:

That guy is mad because of the Green Eggs and Ham's sign:

The Lost Continent:

Entering Sindbad's bazaar:

A new fence has been installed all around the new train station:

A better look at the new fence:

Why the new fence? Well, because that area will lead to Universal Studios Florida, for which you'll need a park-to-park theater (we are guessing that they will check tickets before getting on the trains):
