Downtown Disney Update: Major Work Continues (PART 2)


Welcome to PART 2 of our newest Downtown Disney/Disney Springs photo-report (PART 1 of this photo-update can be found HERE)!

In part 1 we focused on the West Side section of Downtown Disney, and we also started to look around the area that will include the first of the two multi-story parking garages. Now let's continue to check out the work being done on the parking garage, Pleasure Island, and the Marketplace:

  1. I'm not a great fan of parking garages: if they are designed badly they can create horrendous queues at peak times when everyone tries to leave at once.

    I spent 45 minutes getting out of the parking garage at Premium outlets on an unusually wet day in late October. the DD garage has potential to be chaotic late when all the restaurants etc close if its not organised well...

  2. I guess the monorail will never be extended. This seems like Disney trying to be like city walk at Universal
    #notimpressed
