Universal Studios: Transformation in Progress (Part 5)

Welcome to PART 5 of this Universal Studios Florida photo-update (PART 4 can be found here).

The last part of this photo-update includes a walk-through of the still-under-construction Simpsons land:

New walls have gone up in the area right in front of the gate leading to the backstage area:

In the meantime, Lisa was meeting Guests in front of the Kwik-E-Mart, with Simpsons-related music playing all around the construction area (something we didn't notice before):

Some photos around the area:

New (temporary) posters have been placed in front of most of the windows of the new buildings:

Yep... it's another quality job brought to you by Nassal!:

Work on the area's restrooms also continue:

Nearby, Doc is now meeting Guests in front of the Back to the Future props:

New palms in Woody Woodpecker's Kid Zone:

Work is also being performed (pun not intended!) on the Kid Zone's stage:

While going out, we saw the rest of the Simpsons Family meeting Guests in the Hollywood area:

AFter having left the park, we also noticed that some work was being performed on one of the moving walkways:

And that is all for today! Thank you very much for reading. Remember to post comments on this update, as we love to see what you think about the various projects taking place in the parks. Thank you again!

  1. It's wonderful to see so much work being done! I think it will look like a whole new theme park next time I visit! Thanks for keeping us up to date!

  2. All this construction is why I went with Universal for my annual pass this year.
Disney should be in full force after the acquiring of Star Wars, yet nothing.
