Universal Studios Update: Behind the Walls (PART 4)

Welcome to PART 4 of this Universal Studios Florida picture-report (PART 3 can be found HERE)

Let's continue with some more over-the-wall photos of the future London area:

It is now officially the time to take a look at the progress that has been made in the future Simpsons themed area:

First, we will take a look at the area from the other side of the lagoon:

A panoramic photo of the park from the bridge connecting the old Amity Village to World Expo (FULL-SIZE):

Work seems to be proceeding really fast:

The area near The Simpsons Ride:

The bottom of the temporary walls around the area have been painted blue with a small light-blue stripe:

Quite unusual:

Anyone has an explanation for this seemingly strange move?:

New railings have been installed all around the new extended queue are of The Simpsons Ride:

You can tell these railings were just joined together:

We are sure many theme park fans will dislike them (railings always bring a lot of discussions in the theme park world, it seems...), but we actually like this addition a lot. The railings add synergy to the area with their nondescript shape, without making the area look tacky (remember that they still need to be painted):

We are guessing they will be painted purple to match the color of the rest of the area:
