SeaWorld Update: Antarctica, Atlantis, Etc. (PART 5)

Welcome to PART 5 of this brand-new SeaWorld Orlando update! PART 4 can be found here.

Continuing our tour of the park, we found out that the Dolphin Nursery has been closed fora refurbishment:

As part of the festival, a new Sesame Street show is taking place at the Sea Fire Inn theater:

It's called "Elmo Rocks":

Entering the theater:

This was actually the first time we ever stepped into this theater. In fact, this used to house the former Polynesian dinner-show that was recently (sadly) discontinued:

The show was definitely geared toward kids (as anyone would expect):

Then the sun went down and it was time to exit the park:

Before exiting, we noticed that there was a special event taking place around the Key West area of the park:

They were actually still preparing for the special event:

Goodnight, SeaWorld Orlando!:

And this is all! We hope you enjoyed all the photos and news included in this huge update! Remember to post comments in the apposite section if you'd like to share them with us. Have a great rest of the night (or day)!

  1. I would hope that SeaWorld changes the area near the Bayside Stadium after the Antarctica area is complete, it seems like that is the most bare section of the park as it is unthemed with a lot of space to build an e-ticket attraction there. One can only hope.

  2. Still, my only concern with Antarctica is that the three entrances look very cramped compared to the open areas that Penguin Plaza had in the past. Once it opens I can see nightmares of the squeeze-play going threw them if it doesn't prove to be wider then the photos!

  3. I was there today (02-01-13) and the ride vehicles for Antartica just arrived as I was on Kraken.
