Iconic Bridge Near Former Parking Lot Entrance of Hollywood Studios to Be Demolished Soon

For many years, Guests entering the parking lot of Disney's Hollywood Studios had to drive under a bridge featuring a themed portal that welcomed them to the park. According to a recent advisory released by the Walt Disney World Resort, this iconic structure will be demolished in the very near future.

To allow crews to begin working on this project, the entrance to the Cast Member parking lot (which is serviced by a road that goes directly under the bridge) will only be accessible from Osceola Parkway starting Tuesday, November 5. The bridge itself will remain open until the new ramp is completed.

To enter the Cast parking lot from World Drive, drivers will need to exit onto eastbound Osceola Parkway (towards ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex), make a legal U-turn at Victory Way, and enter the BB-8 parking lot from Osceola Parkway.
