SeaWorld Update: Sesame Street Construction, Miscellaneous Rehabs (PART 1)

SeaWorld Orlando is getting ready to open a brand-new Sesame Street themed land, but that's not the only area of the park that's currently receiving attention. As you'll see in this photo-report, the popular Dolphin Nursery and the recently-opened Infinity Falls water ride are both closed for refurbishment and are expected to reopen to Guests very soon. Let's take a look around these areas of the park together, shall we?

SeaWorld was warning Guests about the storms that were about to make their way through the area yesterday afternoon:

The sky looked menacing:

Most attractions had minimal wait times:

We never noticed this seating area next to the Dippin' Dots cart. There used to be a merchandise cart in this area not too long ago, but it appears that it has been moved elsewhere:

Only a 15-minute wait for Empire of the Penguin:

We were surprised to see that were was just one single showing of Sea Lions High. That's really bad:

Infinity Falls is still closed for refurbishment:

They were testing the ride:

While it appears that this was a scheduled refurbishment, it's appalling to see that a ride that hasn't even been open for a full year yet has to close for rehab. We wonder if the park found some issues that needed to be addressed as soon as possible:
