I-4 Eastbound Ramp to Be Closed for Five Months Near Universal Orlando

On Monday, February 19, The Florida Department of Transportation temporarily closed the I-4 eastbound on-ramp from Universal Boulevard. The ramp is expected to be closed for at least five months. The long-term ramp closure is required to provide a safe work zone so construction crews can continue building the Kirkman Road (State Road 435) and I-4 interchange.


The Parking and Security Teams at Universal Orlando Resort will be alternating traffic between four different phases to assist with the flow of traffic as Guests are exiting the resort during peak times. In addition to these routes, alternatives are listed below:
