Universal Studios Update: The Day of the Solar Eclipse (PART 1)
Monday, August 21, 2017 was a special day for many people in the United States, as the solar eclipse was visible in a number of states across the country. While Central Florida visitors only witnessed a partial eclipse, the excitement was obvious, as it's a very rare event that many will only get to see once or twice during their lifetime. Right after the event, we decided to visit Universal Studios Florida to check on the work being done in the site of Fast & Furious: Supercharged.
First of all, we noticed a number of signs advising Guests not to look at the sun during the eclipse:

The wait time board located by the Hello Kitty/Betty Boop store is currently not being used:
Moving on:
Shrek 4D is still operating here at Universal Studios Florida. We wonder how long it will last...

We waited less than 5 minutes to get on Race Through New York:
Back outside:

It looks like they might be installing some railings on top of the Revenge of the Mummy building:
The Secret Life of Pets float is our favorite:
A fan was in use next to the Blues Brothers stage:
