Epcot Guests will be given a chance to enjoy farewell flights when the classic Soarin’ returns to The Land pavilion in Future World starting May 27, 2016.
The attraction will reopen just a few weeks before the new film, Soarin’ Around the World, officially debuts next month at Disney parks in Shanghai, California, and Florida. Disney FastPass+ service will be available starting May 21 for this limited opportunity to enjoy the classic Soarin’ Over California at Epcot.

To some, this will not come as a surprise, as we already mentioned this almost exactly a month ago.

Based on the popular Disney California Adventure park attraction, Soarin’ Over California is a multi-sensory adventure with stunning views over California’s popular sites including the Golden Gate Bridge, Napa Valley, and Yosemite National Park to name a few. You’ll swear you feel the mist from the ocean. Don’t miss your chance to experience Soarin’ Over California at Disney California Adventure now through June 15, and at Epcot through June 16.

The new film, Soarin’ Around the World, debuts June 17 at Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort and Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort the day after its world premiere at Shanghai Disneyland and highlights landmarks from across the globe.

One question and one comment...

Will the 3rd theater be open for the temporary re-opening of the original Soarin'?

For those who want to spoil the surprise of the new movie, you can search for Soarin Around the World on YouTube to get early views, recorded at Shanghai Disneyland. I won't comment about it here to avoid any spoilers.

Now if they would only do the same thing with Honey I Shrunk the Audience. I can watch Pixar DVD extras at home in 3D as I have a 3D TV. Its over a $100 to get into Epcot I expect something that I cannot buy at Best Buy. It's really sad how lazy and cheap Disney has gotten.
