Magic Kingdom: Main Street U.S.A., Hub Update (PART 1)

The entrance area, Main Street U.S.A., and the central hub of the Magic Park are all receiving a lot of attention. While some changes may not be necessarily liked by everyone (like the new fence recently installed in front of the Main Street Station planter), all the additions that are coming to the park are much needed, especially when it comes to expand and enhance pathways or refurbish themed facades. Take a close look at what is being done in these areas:

Welcome to the Magic Kingdom Park:

After more than 40 years, the planter located at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park received a new fence. A very similar fence was installed years ago around the planter at Disneyland Park in California:

What do you think about this minor (yet important) addition?:

The refurbishment of some of the facades continues:

The crane behind Cinderella Castle will be there for a while. You should get used to it:

They are doing an excellent job with the landscaping:

Take a look at this view. We are sure you'll find it quite appealing:

The fence has still not been installed on the bridge:

  1. It's a minor complaint in the grand scheme of things and overall the updates they are doing look great and are certainly needed but we'll miss propping the kids up on the wall out front (I'm sure exactly why the fence is there now). As a parent with 4 young kids it's been a blast taking their picture each year and seeing them grow in the same spot. I'm sure we'll get over it and the rest looks great!
