Universal Studios Update: Store Expansion (PART 4)

Welcome to PART 4 of this new Universal Studios Florida photo-update (PART 3 can be found HERE).

Fear factor LIVE! is closed (thankfully):

M.I.B. Alien Attack:

We'll now enjoy a stroll around Springfield:

Before we do that, take a look at how the fountains used during the park's nighttime show are tested:

A Team Member on a Jet Ski calls other Team Members on the radio:

She then requests to see if each individual fountain works:

Cool, isn't it?:

Back to Springfield:

Great little ride:

We love this themed area. A lot:

Minor work being done in front of the Duff Gardens:

Are these posters new? We are not sure:

Moving on:

A quick glimpse at the Kid Zone:

New electronic menus for the Kid Zone Pizza restaurant:

Still abandoned:

The end of our tour:

This concludes our latest Universal Studios Florida photo-tour. We sincerely hope you enjoyed it, and we definitely encourage you once again to share your comments and opinions with us. Thank you in advance, and see you soon!

  1. Great update and Universal looks great. I hope they continue to spend all those profits on updating their parks.
Sure wish Disney would use some of that 2.2 Billion, World just brought in to fill some of those empty buildings in Epcot and Hollywood.

  2. Thank you for another amazing photo update. The store expansion is a great find. Will they really extend the store or will they use it for storing. It's HUGE!
I'm still wondering about the last "London" building, the one to the right. It has no back, you can see right trough (for the most part). I've seen photo's from the air and the space behind and the back of the building following that space look to be themed so what's the deal with that? Does anyone know?

  4. Can someone tell me why the Fear Factor attraction is so bad? I have never seen it, but there is a lot of negative feedback about it. Also, what was Garden of Allah? Was it a restaurant? I can image with 911, not many people wanted to be there. That's just a guess.

  5. Another awesome report! Unfortunately, according to screamscape, that Fear Factor Live is coming back later this month.
And then I just have a question: I am all for technology! I loved seeing the new t.v.'s inside the kids zone restaurant! Do you know if the others in the park as well as Great Adventure will follow suit? Would love to see that!
