OTPN's California Trip: Madame Tussauds (PART 1)

During our recent trip to Southern California, we were able to take some time to take a look around Hollywood. While we are planning to post photos of the city itself in a separate update, today we want to share with our Readers some of the photos we took inside the Madame Tussauds wax museum.

As you know, there are quite a few Madame Tussauds museums around the world (the best - and first - of them being the one in London, which we were also able to visit back in 2005). The museum contains hundreds of wax figures that represent some of the most famous actors and V.I.P.s that are currently living or that have - sadly - passed away. Is there be a better place for such a museum other than Hollywood, the film capital of the world?

Now, what did we think about this attraction? We can say that we enjoyed it, and we are definitely happy to know that we are going to get a version of this museum even here in Orlando, the theme park and entertainment capital of the world. That being said, we thought the museums was a bit small, but maybe this could be because of the fact that we were rushing through the rooms. We were way too excited to get to Disneyland... Also, we used our Merlin Annual Pass (thanks to the special LEGOLAND Florida offer!), so we could afford just spending an hour or so in the museum. All-in-all, it was a nice attraction, and we recommend it to our Readers especially since it is close to the TCL Chinese Theatre (photos of that will be coming soon).

So, without further ado, let us take a look around this museum, shall we? Oh, and we are not going to post the names of each and every person that the wax figures represent. It's up to YOU to recognize them. Have fun!:
