Fun Spot America Update: SkyCoaster News & More

The Creative Director of Fun Spot America, Mr. Tuten, has once again shared with us some of the latest official photos taken around the huge expansion plot of Fun Spot America. Take a look, and be prepared to be surprised by seeing how fast the SkyCoaster was installed! Enjoy:

We finished installing the 250’ SkyCoaster on Sunday and we were fortunate that it never rained, everything went smoothly. The SkyCoaster is up and the safety lights are on. There is some painting left to do, but not much. The SkyCoaster up-lighting is also installed, it will have a very intense green glow at night when connected. I've included a few shots from areas that the public can't access. We think this really changes the landscape of north I-Drive and will be a wonderful landmark to help promote the area.

In about a week, the GCI wood/steel hybrid coaster (White Lightning) will begin a rapid installation process. Many completed bents are now on the ground waiting to go up.

The last two main supports for the figure 8 of the Chance/Vekoma suspended family coaster (Freedom Flyer) will also be installed soon.

The groundwork is nearing completion and the pavers will begin to be installed very soon.

Definitely a lot of progress! A big thank you to Mr. Tuten for sharing these photos with us!
