Magic Kingdom Update: Work Not Stopping (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of this new Magic Kingdom photo-update (PART 1 can be found HERE).

We will now continue our tour of Adventureland, with a look at some of the new interactive elements that were recently installed around the land as part of a new game that should debut later this year:

Near the Jungle Cruise:

A treasure chest has been added:

Also, bubbles now try to mask the hidden skeleton, but the effect doesn't seem to work, as the skeleton is still very visible. This new effect actually makes Guests focus on that spot, ruining the "wow moment" that they would otherwise experience if they saw the skeleton rising from the waters without knowing its location:

The Caribbean Plaza:

More new interactive elements being installed?:

These are new as well:

Inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, we were surprised to see that due to a major pump failure, all of the scenes of the attraction continued to work... without sound. It was very creepy but at the same time very interesting. It never happened to us in the past three years. We'll have a video up shortly:

Once outside, we noticed that the original location of the Crow's Nest is still behind walls:

This is the rumored location of the headquarters of the new interactive game coming to Adventureland:

Splash Mountain is now closed for its seasonal refurbishment:

This sign (and many others) will leave very soon:

Back to Splash Mountain, the ride is really receiving a thorough rehab. Great to see that:

Some rock-work is being completely redone:

They'll be "Splashin' Again Soon":
