Universal Studios Update: More Coaster Track (Part 2)

Let's continue to take an up-close look at the panels used on the Transformers building:

Now we will focus our attention to another project also taking place in the New York City section of the park:


The entrance of the Revenge of the Mummy's ride is being changed:


It is rumored that a new marquee will soon be installed on top of the covered entrance seen here:



This is much better than the former, cheap-looking entrance:

  1. Too bad they are not better themeing the Transformers building to at least match NY or the other soundstage buildings in the park. There should be some cohesion between that area of the park and if Shrek, Despicable Me, and Twister are all built like the golden/yellow soundstages with the stepped roof line, Transformers should have match instead of being a white box. Also, they should have built NY facades facing NY.

  3. This is just what the wall underneath the themed stuff looks like. They will put themed things overtop of this wall.
