Universal Studios Update: Full of Projects (PART 1)

A very warm welcome to our Orlando Theme Park News Readers to another very large Universal Studios Florida photo-report! Due to the fact that so much is going on in this park, our Universal Studios updates are becoming increasingly larger, and it looks like they are surpassing the size of our Fantasyland updates (by the way, do you remember when the New Fantasyland area was only a bare area, with nothing on it? We do!).

For this reason, let's not lose any time, and let us start to take a look around to see what is happening here:

There are so many cranes around the park... And that is exactly what makes us so excited!:

Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue was down for the day:

Inside the park:

It was definitely a quiet day:

Only 10 minutes to wait to ride Despicable Me - Minion Mayhem:

Shrek's shop still hasn't received its new sign:

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit:

It looks like this stand was recently moved to the area near the coaster, but we are not completely sure:

The newer Dippin' Dots cart has received some more logos in the last few weeks:

The menu:

In the meantime, work on the new train track is taking place behind the New York themed facade:

Work on top of the Mummy showbuilding also continues:

These new walls are needed to hide something. At the moment we are hearing a lot of speculation, but I have a feeling that we will discover soon what they will be used for:

One thing we would personally love is to see some real theming going over this bare soundstage:

From the other side of the building:

The main entrance of the Revenge of the Mummy still isn't showing any changes... for now:

Time to start focusing on the Transformers showbuilding!:

  1. The angle of the crane makes it look like the skyscrapers on the New York skyline facade are getting some work done! The world's very first themed construction crane :)
